We’ve made it through another week! Or another week that feels like a month. Or two. Weren’t we supposed to be done with all of this by now?
We’ve finally made it to the end of another week! Which, of course, feels like it’s been another month… As the pandemic rolls on, I know many people are still experiencing “crisis fatigue,” which is very much a real thing. I originally posted a story about it back in June — but after another couple of months, it feels like there’s no end in sight.
I found another helpful article that has some really great reminders as we keep moving forward: It’s okay to feel angry. It’s okay to cut back on your workload. Go easy on your loved ones. Go easy on yourself. All great advice.
When it comes to self-care, even just a few minutes away from everything can make a big difference — like yesterday, when I took a few moments to sit next to our pond in the backyard before the kids came home and chaos resumed…
Bottom line, take care of yourself. Be kind to yourself, and to others. Everyone is fighting the same battles right now — and some are probably dealing with a lot more you know nothing about. We’ll get there. Until then, congratulate yourself on getting this far. We’ve earned it. 🥃
