Concerts and live music have been put on hold (thanks, pandemic!) But I’m excited to have the chance to get out play some live music again SOON!
I really feel terrible for all of my fellow musician friends. Normally by now, we’d be in the thick of the summer concert season — with my friends playing gigs all over the place. What a tough time it’s been not just for performers, but for the thousands of other people working in sound reinforcement, lightning, stage managers, tour managers, promoters.. the list goes on.
I hope everyone is hanging in there… I’m actually working on a really cool idea that will bridge many of my passions together — and benefit not just people in the music/entertainment industries, but the Arthritis Foundation as well. It’s all just in the formative stages right now — but I’ll be sure to keep you informed!
I know that we are also working really hard to make the annual Bone Bash happen, in some form or another. Keep checking back for updates.
In the meantime, if you see a local performer doing their thing, please, do what you can to support them. I know that “socially-distanced gigs” sound antithetical… let’s keep those virtual tip jars full and keep the music flowing!
You can also always check out the great photos we’ve shared over the past 20+ years on Snidely’s Facebook page. Peace!!
